My Philosophy

  • I believe in your right to make informed, empowered decisions about your body and your birth. I will honor how you want to move, be touched (or not), listen to your body, and trust its rythems during labor

  • I advocate for reproductive justice, including abortion access, sex education, queer and trans affirming care, and support for sex workers and all birthing people.

  • Your cultural, spiritual, and religious practices are welcome and honored. I encourage you to bring whatever traditions feel meaningful to your birth journey.

  • There is a connection between sexuality and birth! I welcome conversations about pleasure, intimacy, and how your relationship to your body can be a tool during labor.

  • I recognize the deep racial disparities that exist in maternal health, and the harm that they cause. I’m committed to practicing in a way that is anti-racist, inclusive, and actively aware of the privilege I bring into birth spaces. My role isn’t to speak over or for anyone, but to support, hold space, and advocate alongside clients—especially in systems where discrimination and bias still show up.
